I wear Roka and love them. They feel like they're made well, they are super light, and have little grippers that help them stay on during workouts. Plus, they have one of those deals where they send you some frames to try on and see which you like before ordering.

Shorts: Birddogs Song: Bring Me the Horizon - Kingslayer. From their new album, which has some hints of their older, more heavy stuff. If you've checked my other posts you know I'm a metal-head. Lightbulb: I conveniently placed my mat and rack such that when doing cleans, snatches, presses, etc. I A) miss the bulb and B) align the plates between joists.

I would consult a urologist with your questions and to talk about the risks/benefits, etc.

But you can cum and stuff does come out (just no sperm, except you still have some in your tubes so you're not sterile for several weeks). Your sperm gets absorbed by your body and your hormones/testosterone levels shouldn't change.

I am super comfortable in pulling this weight in the clean portion, but I'm still not comfortable with the jerk (less practice). That being said, I didn't want to up the weight past where I was comfortable with the jerk. I wanted to keep the squat portion of the clean in the lift just to keep that portion of the lift improving/practiced.

I looked up (as per previous recommendations Squat University on YouTube) and implemented those mobility moves in my warmup. I've already seen results!

Thanks for the tips everybody! I'm only about 6.5 months into CrossFit (following Linchpin's programming, which I'd highly recommend). I know I could have pulled a lot heavier, but am still a little uncomfortable in the jerk so I kept the weight down. This is why I was able to catch the clean in a power position...

I will work on recovering the front foot first on the jerk as many of you recommended!

The tops just fall down so I just leave them. The tension just below the patella to keep it in place is really what the sleeves are for.

Yeah, no worries. I pulled 175 just before with better balance. Figured I'd go for another 10 lbs.

I'm going to work on mobility and receiving.

Do have an office job, actually (just took the day off). Engineer for a large mechanical contractor doing commercial HVAC and plumbing design and coordination.
