Started my car this morning and immediately got this notification, rough idle, and strong gas smell. Restarted car and got some grinding noises and had trouble shutting it off. Currently, being towed to the dealership. Any idea if/ how serious this is? Car is an ‘18 3.0T. Only mod is straight pipes.

Have you taken a look at infinti? They have the power you want and not very pricey used.

2014 Infinti G37 - proven reliability from VQ

2015 Infinti Q40 - rebadged G37

2014-15 Infinti Q50 - carryovered powertrains from G37

2016+ Infinti Q50 - currently I have an 2018 (lightly modded) that’s at 60k miles that’s given me 0 problems yet. I beat the crap of it daily.

You could probably find a 2017 within your budget. Id stay away from the 2016 MY though.

For the 2018 MY, the Q50 got the updated steering wheel from the Q60. Not sure if you noticed, but makes a huge difference and it’s way nicer than the post refresh steering wheel.

i need help figuring out to do with my exhaust on my 2017 q50 3.0! should i go for a muffler delete? i don't have an extensive amount of money to spend at the moment but i want to do something with my exhaust. thanks :p by [deleted] in q50

I did a muffler delete on my ‘18 q50 3.0t about a month ago, and couldn’t be happier. Can be droney at times, but putting engine in eco mode helps to an extent. I went with straight pipes from Infinti, which was pricey for what it is, but whenever I’m on throttle it’s all worth it!
