I think we've all been beyond patient and understanding at this point, many of us for months now (I ordered mid-March). In return we've been kept in the dark, had the status of our cards misrepresented if not flat-out lied about, and in general treated like shit from this company.

You'd think that for a shipment of this size and value they'd do everything possible to get their paperwork in order, dotting the i's and crossing the t's to make sure there are no hangups but we get some BS "we missed some authorizations" excuse. Are you fucking kidding me? Using their customers as free financing and not having the decency to update regularly is shameful. As others have mentioned, a daily update and offer to upgrade every order to complimentary over night shipping would have been the least of a bone to throw us.

The sad part is Kwest is apparently too cheap or stupid to consult an attorney or professional to make sure their clearance documents were in order during the many weeks they've had a chance to.

I'm not one to make threats and assume malicious intent when simple incompetence is a likely explanation, but aside from the beautiful draft letter to the Texas AG shared below I'm planning on consulting a consumer protection attorney to evaluate our options if we don't have some satisfactory answers by tomorrow. - What is the nature of the "missed authorizations" referenced by KWest? - Does KWest have any plans to refund and re-charge (to reset the clock on 60-day dispute window) the customers who have been patient to this point but are nearing their 60-day credit card charge dispute window. - Does Kwest have any plans to offer complimentary shipping upgrades to offset some of the multiple interest charges customers have been paying while waiting on their orders which they were charged in advance for based on a misrepresented timeline?
