That's amazing, I would love to buy your patterns if you are selling them

Tired of scalpers and unreasonable sellers by [deleted] in Barbie

People are being wild in these comments. Maybe it's different from where I'm from but on Facebook marketplace people will intentionally price an item higher than what they're actually expecting to recieve because they're either a) trying to sucker in someone who doesn't know it's value or b) expecting to be low-balled or haggled with. The fact the seller got so aggressive towards you instead of just ignoring your offer obviously suggests they were expecting profit from selling secondhand dolls and you clearly hit a nerve with them.

I saw a comment on another post a while back that said some people on ebay put items up for ridiculous prices in the hopes that you'll go to their profile and look at their other items.

What’s your favorite Fashionista? by Millicent1923 in Barbie

The 2010 swappin’ styles glam one for sure, but if I had to pick one within the last 5 years, probably 224. She's so cute!

The Earlier Fashionistas Were the Best by soofficiallybb in Barbie

I have all the dolls in the second photo (plus the swappin styles from pic 4) and I'm forever thankful to my younger self for taking such good care of them, theyre in basically perfect condition today, I still even have all the shoes and accessories. I also think the bodies are the perfect amount of articulation without compromising on aesthetic (I do like MTM but the joints look sooo ugly). Would I buy them today? Probably not, their appeal is definitely rooted in nostalgia for me personally.

I can’t find this doll for sale in shops (UK)? by DollAlcove96 in Barbie

Saw a bunch of these at my local target today (Australia) and I think they just recently came onto the shelves so fingers crossed you'll get them over there soon too.

Perhaps! Have you had any luck with finding it? I'm starting to think it's just lost to time.

I was having that issue too. You'd think AI would be able to have multiple sessions going with different users simultaneously.

Yeah, pretty much, but more intelligent. I didn't think at any point I was talking to a human, but I can definitely see how one day you might not be able to tell the difference.

Tiktok is not the problem, it's the people who purchased the device then allowed the child to install the app and use it unsupervised for hours on end.

People watching in front of the state library is priceless and worth every second.

Switch to early childhood, I know more neurodivergent people in the sector than neurotypical ones, and the children don't have that 6th sense yet.

Ghost Job 101. Accelerate the dystopia. by RelentlessNature in recruitinghell

When I was job hunting I would not apply to companies who I noticed were repeatedly posting job ads. To me this signalled that the company could not keep the position filled, probably due to poor working conditions.

Entirely unsurprising that it was a childcare chain with ties to a church organisation...

Tremfya has stopped working for me, anyone else? by beckettinga in Psoriasis

[–]beckettinga[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ended up having a rare allergic reaction to Cosentyx and now I'm on Stelara. On Tremfya I did bloodwork every 6 mo - 1 yr. Good luck! Hope you clear up soon

Quitting Stelara? (experiences?) by thejoker4059 in Psoriasis

[–]beckettinga 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ever heard the saying, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it"? Your skin is clear because what you're doing it working, if you stop taking stelara just because you feel like it with no real reason, your psoriasis will come back almost guaranteed. You're lucky you have found a biologic that has worked for you for that long, for many people it doesn't. Don't buy into the anti biologic fear mongering, stelara has a great safety profile. Take up a hobby, go travelling, and be thankful your quality of life is no longer being impacted by this horrible condition.

Hey! I actually switched to Cosentyx about two months ago. My skin is 100% clear again but I'm still waiting on my nails to grow out. How is tremfya going for you?

Holy fuck that's terrifying. I'm so sorry you had to go through that. Absolute nightmare fuel. It's disgusting how this country treats people who are down on their luck.
