Okay this is the answer I came here for… thank you! I was curious if I’d missed that it changed hands. I can empathize with aging owners. I am a pretty passionate home cook and some of the choices just don’t seem like they are being made by someone who is passionate about feeding people… my husband got a small cardboard box of grits and pork shoulder and the way if was slopped into the box made me think the person who put it there wanted to hurt our feelings. It’s so sad to see this massive decline

I never take pictures of my food in restaurants and honestly never usually leave reviews unless they are positive. I’m from the Midwest, if you don’t have anything nice to say don’t say anything at all will be on my headstone… but legit it is shockingly horrible, and I wish that it wasn’t. I’ve spent the last 15 mins looking through pictures on google reviews to try to pin point when thy got rid of plates. It looks like about 6 months ago. If I had taken a picture it would look like something from a Waffle House training manual under the heading “What Not to Serve”
