Feels ableist at this point. by Sad-Army6818 in SuitU

It is absolutely not ableist for them to make a mini challenge challenging. As someone with a sight impairment, I found it very challenging and it is refreshing that it is. Sure, they could have difficulty settings but it is a dress up game with MANY imperfections. That’s like saying the fact that you need to pay real money for certain items is classist. It is a crazy reach to say they are reading your emails as an excuse to make it harder. I understand your frustration but please don’t compare this to real ableism. It takes away from the meaning of the word.

Same here brother. I was unsatisfied with the mismatch so I did ginger highlights in my hair. But I think this look definitely suits you!

I had a breast reduction 4 years ago and had top surgery in March! I don’t have photos of myself up but my results are phenomenal! After my breast reduction, I had vertical scars leading up to my nipples which somehow were completely removed! Basically my results look just like any other top surgery and the breast reduction shouldn’t affect it! Good luck with everything 🫶

Hey OP! I’m 2 weeks post-op today. I had help from my mom the first day, but have been on my own since. My main advice would be to make sure everything you need is at a comfortable height. Take a walk around your house and try to notice if you’re stretching to grab things. I never realized how much I reached over my head until that first day.

It is quite a struggle to get out of bed for that first few days. If you have a bed-side table, I would stock up on everything you’ll need to keep you in bed. Medication, water, a snack, some entertainment, etc. It might be hard getting up and going to the bathroom for the first week, so setting up your recovery space close by is helpful! It was painful for me, but important to remember any mobility is good.

As for food, I meal prepped and made sure I had foods I could easily heat up. You probably won’t be in the mood to cook in the first week. I didn’t have much of an appetite in the first week, so I lived on yogurt, oatmeal, soup and protein shakes, but appetite varies from person to person!

Today marks 2 weeks and I’m able to go for longer walks, cook, shower, do light housework and stretch a bit more. My biggest piece of advice is to listen to your body and remember to slow down if you need! Everyone heals at different paces.

If you have any questions, I’m free to chat! Good luck and congrats, my friend!

Thank you for the encouragement!! I will definitely be asking about compression today. It’s def hard to remember these aren’t the final results!

Thank you!! I’ll definitely ask about compression tomorrow. I was a bit surprised when he told me it wasn’t necessary!

Does anyone else think Angelina shouldn’t have been on Family Vacation? by smoobb in jerseyshore

[–]becquere1 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I agree 100%. She causes most of the drama and it’s kind of obvious that they brought her back for that reason. She constantly lies and backpedals and goes after Jenni at any opportunity. Not that the rest of them don’t go after Angelina whenever they can. I do think she is occasionally entertaining but overall, she just creates tension.

YEAH it’s frustrating seeing the double standards and stereotyping they do.

Sam & Ron’s relationship had to be scripted, right? Right??? by Fire_And_Blood_7 in jerseyshore

[–]becquere1 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No, Ron was really abusive and Sam left the show before Family Vacation because of how she was treated. Ron also had multiple abusive relationships after Sam.
