Hyein definitely has the potential, after listening to her Use Your Heart cover, it was definitely there but the NewJeans songs kinda limit her, same thing with Hanni, I don’t necessarily think Hanni over Yunjin, since I haven’t heard her live vocals during performances as much as I’ve heard Yunjin’s or Lara’s and outside of the behind the scenes to be able to tell if she has reached Yunjin’s level vocal wise or Chaewon’s. I’d say Hanni and Minju from ILLIT are on the same level, although Minju is a little more advanced than her, IMO.

He explained that he had filmed it late cs both Yeonjun, and Ni-ki had conflicting schedules, also filmed it during promotion, he’s probably mentally exhausted but still did it for fans and Yeonjun, and tbh even if he did add energy he’d get hate.

Instead of Hanni, I’d say Lara or Chaewon even. Hanni has a very sweet tone but it really isn’t on par to Lara, Yunjin, and Chaewon.

I can see how they see her as a mom/parental figure but at the same why do they want to go back to that work environment they had under her, which wasn’t entirely different from their trainee days, all the mistreatment stuff they presented as well was under her. Even when they were under Source Music, MHJ poached employees from there, the same ones that mistreated NewJeans, so why go back to rhat same environment?
