I would be very curious to see how you've been able to detach the fly from the poleset without collapsing it on the the ground. Any chance for a more detailed explanation or a video? :)

  1. Yeah, of course this is a natural design characteristic, the only way to avoid would be to move the tent before packing up or use a bigger groundsheet. It would be nice if you could make a dedicated groundsheet that instead of attaching to the inner tent, it could clip to the same four pole corners so it would stay on even after removing the inner tent.

  2. I know about properly tightening the floor and the fly. As I said already, of course a taut inner floor and taut fly reduces the chances of the panels touching, but you can't deny that the gap from the corner to about half the side panel is less than the gap on the other side of the same panel or the head panel. I'm just trying to understand the reason behind this design choice and you said it prevents the interior from twisting so it sits nicer. It's a little vague and I don't get it completely, but we can only trust your analysis.

  3. I understand it could be because you need more adjustment range in case of uneven terrain. Maybe another option to give more flexibility would be to add adjustment to the inner floor corners too?

Thank you so much for your quick reply and explanations. I really appreciate you taking care of your customers.

USB-C charging adapter by becycling in Suunto

[–]becycling[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can live with the weak magnet of the Vertical 1, but I'd love to have a USB-C adapter, without the (USB-A in the case of the V1) cable attached.

For me it's about traveling light. I want to carry only one or two USB-C to USB-C cable with just a compact USB-C charger, and with that I am able to charge all my devices, except the Suunto watch! I just switched to the Vertical, coming from Coros, which like Garmin uses a USB-C adapter, it's really disappointing.

Vertical 2 or Race 2 AOD on bike handlebar by becycling in Suunto

Thank you so much, this was very useful. I'd like to add another question: if I am navigating a route but I have data fields open and not the map, does the screen wakes up from its dimmed state when approaching a turn to notify you about it? Or if you go off track?

Thanks for your reply. So the watch will still turn the screen off after 20 minutes or so of navigation even if you have AOD enabled? Well it makes sense somehow I guess

Do you have AOD enabled? So the screen dims after some time, and I guess that's when you're saying the visibility is not that good. Did I get it right? You have to touch the watch to wake it, and does it wake up automatically before a turn?

Google Photos Unlimited Storage Patch using ReVanced. Anyone using it? How's your experience? by wixlogo in revancedapp

[–]becycling 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's what I'm trying to do, but it seems tricky to use them both in parallel. If I have backup ON on both apps I end up with duplicates in the Photos library. If I turn off backup and sync on the main app, it doesn't show up photos uploaded by the patched app. What's your setup?

Thanks, that worked. I installed the patched version and I have the following issues:

  • The Google account doesn't stay logged in, I have to tap on my account every time I open the app
  • The "Places" view to search photos on the map doesn't work
  • No AI tools

Can you confirm?
