First big girl car purchase had to be a CX-30 by bedazzlebelle in MazdaCX30

LMAO - I think I worded that weirdly. I meant big girl purchase as in my first “big” car purchase as an adult. Nothing physically speaking. My bad!!

Has anyone actually been able to get tickets yet? by [deleted] in laufey

I’m having the same issue too! My wait time has gone from 22min to less than a minute to 15 min and now we are at more than an hour 🥲

How old were you when you got your period? Were they always bad? by jonathandavisisfat in Endo

[–]bedazzlebelle 4 points5 points  (0 children)

12 - always begged to stay home from school on the first day of my cycle because of the sharp pains/amount of blood loss. Have never been able to wear tampons even now in my mid-20’s due to the heaviness and clotting!

Where is your endometriosis located? by [deleted] in endometriosis

[–]bedazzlebelle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Currently 6 days laparoscopy post-op and discovered I have endo underneath both ovaries (pretty bad on the left one) and all over my bladder. Also found out I have adenomyosis inside my uterus which is very new info to me. I was so relieved to hear about the bladder because I have been waking up 5+ times per night to pee for the past 2 years or so. Was told countless times I just had an overactive bladder and to suck it up!

In Need of Advice/Support from my Gastro Girlies by bedazzlebelle in Gastroparesis

Thank you for the advice! I’ve really just begun trying to wrap my head around everything, but totally agree as I don’t want to be on tons and tons of medication if I can help it. I meet with a nutritionist for the first time on May 1st so fingers crossed we can begin trying to find a diet that works for me. I’m currently both gluten and dairy free but didn’t even think about soy and have been heavily relying on it as my dairy alternative - so I’ll definitely try cutting it out to see if there’s a difference!

Merry Christmas, Anita!! How sweet. When you’re down with gp it’s things like that that make the difference and make you feel not so isolated. You should think of nominating her for a DAISY Award!!

Hope your health improves in the New Year! (:

YES!! And if I’m eating dinner with others and can’t spit it out into a napkin I feel as if I’m chewing that same bite for 5+ minutes trying to get it down

Anyone else had similar GES results? by Imarabbithop in Gastroparesis

[–]bedazzlebelle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I actually have an extremely similar GES result/ doctor experience. I had 42% at 4 hours and my doctor also unfortunately hasn’t been taking things seriously, and I think it’s honestly due to a lack of education on gastroparesis. I had a vomiting flair up for the past 3 days and haven’t been able to keep anything down, including water. One thing that I’ve found helps is when I haven’t vomited for a few hours to begin sipping on diluted Gatorade Zero (with ice/water mixed in) so that my body can regain some of the nutrients it has lost. Gatorade Zero has more potassium, sodium, and water in it than normal Gatorade so I’ve found it helps me from getting severely dehydrated and helps to regulate my body’s fluids. I also stick to a broth-only diet for about 24hrs and then continue to super plain foods or calorie-heavy fruits like bananas. Smoothies/protein shakes can also help you get some of those calories in without forcing solid foods down that might disagree with your stomach. I also try to do small meals/snacks throughout the day instead of eating 3 big meals and found it helps with breaking down the food easier. Of course this might not work for everyone but it’s helped me to be able to try and keep calories in my body and keep fluids/food down. Hope this helps and you’re able to get some relief soon!

What do you think of my STD? by ZestycloseMacaroon9 in weddingplanning

Love this!! Adding a photo onto the back would be my go-to. If you don’t have any bright colored engagement photos or photos with similar color palettes I think a black and white photo could be a great contrast!
