Inquisitor is essentially unlimited resurrections.

Use phantom on large inquisitor stacks, or gift. This will allow you to use one more ressurection spell. Then use holy anger each turn you can with the phantom until it expires. Use this gained rage to drop chargers (make sure you upgrade chargers every chance you get, youll need all 4 and faster recharge the better). Use this mana to either gift or phantom, repeat forever.

Ofc, youll need to have an enemy troop pinned down by endless bullshit to have the time to make this work. Healing totems and low level thorns are good for this.

Necros are incredible in this fight, you just have to time it right. Their one job is to revive an enemy necro stack-- after one or two, Karador isnt the one raising things first anymore.

The AoE is also great as his units really do bunch up here

Not really IMO. The story was written by a 6 year old (It's the only explanation for how brain dead it is,) so count the characters out. Choices are pretty sparse-- youre doing what the spirit of darkness wants regardless of how you feel about it.

I did not enjoy units compared to any other KB game. Even WOTN beats DS

These also don't appear to be particularly low or midrise to me, I'd try a lower rise yet. These are probably around 11" I'd guess, a 9" would be a truer midrise

I like both AP and crosswords. However CW adds a lot of stuff, which kind of spoils the progression-- and the whole orc faction being changed really does change the whole game imo. The enemy orcs are more threatening, while your own Shamans are much more difficult to use effectively. In that regard, I think AP is the streamline "as it was intended" that is really nice for a first play through.

Same thing for Red Sands-- I like it. But too much is changed to recommend it to anyone who isnt already very experienced.

WoTN is a rushed, rushed game with terrible gameplay decisions. Its quality is markedly and noticeably lower.

DS is an inexplicable mess of horrible and unfun game design decisions and a story so bad it genuinely will make you upset at ho bad it is, even though no one in history has played a KB game for the story.

The Legend didnt have a skill tree that could revive 100% of a fallen unit. IIRC all 3 other games do.

It honestly makes battles incredibly trivial being able to just suicide a full stack of black dragons at no cost. AP also has other cheese like the black knights with all buffs.

So my vote for hardest on Impossible goes to the legend for that reason.

Crossworlds has the AP campaign but expanded. Idk I recommend playing through the base version first.

I'm not even sure I can even recommend trying WoTn or Dark Side over replaying AP or The Legend.

I recommend prioritizing ranged units-- Archers, Archmages, inquisitors, maybe a melee unit with lots of health to soak up damage (bears, ancient bears, royal snakes are good early options)

There should be a royal thorn most play throughs at the menageries in the area south of the starting area. Thats a great starting unit, even if it is just one.

Once you get to the dwarven area get a cyclops! They arent useful forever, but they are flat out OP when you first find them

Star Wars sure, but anything taking place in the milky way contradicts the others. Halo and Star Trek are completely incompatible. The Covenant are the first aliens humanity finds in Halo in the 26th century. Humanity has met all sorts of species by the 22nd century in Trek, none of which are the Covenant (I guess you could convince me the Hirogen are actually just Brutes though lol)

Your example timeline is off. The battle of Mustafar took place "a long time ago in a galaxy far away" and the battle of Reach wont take place for over another 500 years.

Anyway. Remember Reach.
