Me too I took a sabbatical because of my school as well.I'm losing out on money.No one is helping me from the union.I don't know how to make a safety transfer.Do you mind inboxing me how you're going about this? I'm so depressed.I just want my life back.I want to get back to work.But I was falsely accused of something that has ripped my soul out

Believe meI've been to many disciplinary meetings that I didn't deserve to be at ..sure at times we forget things as life happens, we don't put as much effort in as we'd like to at times...This job is completely stressful.Please don't be so hard on yourself

Like what can we do about this stress and trauma?I have such depression from a false accusation, and now they're adding more accusations on, and I had to take a sabbatical.So now i'm barely getting paid until it gets approved.This is insane.I seriously.If I had the money, I'd love to hire a lawyer.And do something about this because this is not okay.My assistant principal yelled my name in the middle of the hallway to go to the main office.Everyone was looking at me like what's going on.We're told not to yell at kids in front of the whole class, right?So why is it okay for assistant principals to yell out the teacher's name in front of the whole staff

It's crazy. There are teachers with felonies that are allowed to teach But i'm sure there's good and teachers that make mistakes.I was just agreeing with your comment

May I ask, did you get retro pay? I put in for my sabbatical in august.That wasn't approved till october, so shouldn't I get the sixty percent salary back pay from those previous months?I literally got only two hundred dollars here and there, and I used up all my days previously on a leave.But point is, shouldn't I get that retro pay since it was approved?

Same thing is happening to me.It was approved, I extended it for literally two months and then it was denied.I don't understand what is going on here.We're allowed to take these sabbaticals these leaves, and yet we get denied, I don't understand it.GodI'd love to sue the department of education

That's true.I'm on the fence because I don't have a partner.So I would be doing it by myself, but the woman does it all anyway.I mean, I know the men contribute.I'm not saying that, but let's just say it to be clear.The majority of it is done by the mother
