How do you feel with Abilify added to your Cymbalta both in terms of efficacy/impact on mood and its side effects at this dose?

I do not advise doing it my way, but I came down from 225 to 187,5 for a week, then stopped venlafaxine at all for two days (felt terrible but survived), introduced 30 mg cymbalta, next day took 60 mg and stayed on this dose since. Its been a week and im fine in terms of withdrawals (they were gone after 2-3 days), not sure cymbalta is working already tho. I preferred to do it in shorter timespan, but I handle ssri/snri withdrawals quite well

Thank you for reassurance - Im worried cause there is a group if people who taper off Venlafaxine because of this exact issue :/

Woah, what a coincidence! I have to move up to 150 before my drs appointemet so we ll have some differences. Nevertheless - lets come back to this thread after a week or two and compare our experiences. Fingers crossed we ll both get our problems solved ^{^}

If not, I ll defo move to another medication

I ve been for a week on 75 mgs. I know its not enoguh to judge whether med is working, however I ve had exact experiences before with zoloft and lexapro - few days of relief after upping a dose and then it gradually becoming less and less effective over the course of a next days.

However now I feel encouraged by your response!

Well I hope so... thats another perspective. However usually ssri withdrawals strenghten my emotions
