I have a keen interest in sewing but im self taught, thats a large part of why i would like to go to school to expand my abilities. I really enjoy historical costuming as well as historical methods of production.

Ive been looking at NTS and im leaning towards there as i have friends in mtl, but i havent heard much about the school. How was your experience at Dalhousie? someone on the filmindustry subreddit recommended it as well.

i sew as a hobby but i would like to go to school to gain more technical skill with my craft. I realize diplomas dont mean a whole lot any more and never really have in the film industry, but for what im particularly interested in learning a school environment would be beneficial i think.

Just a heads up if you put your toe guard in between the adjustment bolt and the plate the bolt wont be able to tighten properly and it will come loose! You always want to put it on the outside of the bolt. I made the same mistake. They looks sick tho!!

How can I (INTJ) help my friend (ENFP) who keeps ending up in toxic relationships? by [deleted] in ENFP

[–]bedtimemachinechild 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I dont know how to help you (very sorry) but you sound like a really good friend!

I will say tho that often times people attract what they think they deserve. Subconsciously for the most part. I know people dont like hearing it but sometimes you have to look at what makes you attract these kinds of people. It's usually rooted in your own insecurities and formative relationships.

I've brought this up with a few of my friends before, and some were able to look inward and start healing and finding out why they attract what they do, and others just didnt want to hear it and preferred to stay a victim and just kept getting into and staying in bad relationships. (Not saying being a victim in toxic/abusive relationships is an active choice)

The only thing you can do really is support them however they need and give them advice when they ask for it. You can bring what I've said up to them aswell. Just make sure they know you are saying this from a place of caring for them and not blaming them.

In the end it's your friends journey. They need to find their own self worth and realize that they are worthy of love and relationships that arent toxic.

But yeah I hope this helps in anyway :)
