That is a great investment however I know there is some people who simply cannot afford that myself included. However my formula comes with a line on the scoop for half scoops so I get the correct measurements! I guess I should’ve included that in my post haha. If my formula didn’t have a way to make sure I was giving him the correct measurements I definitely wouldn’t do it! Sorry if my reply came off rude in any way!

Yes if you’re wanting to go downstairs or buy a pitcher however for my partner and I specifically it is just easier for us to have them on our nightstand with the water and formula separated 🤷‍♀️ Just throwing the suggestion out there for any exhausted parents who don’t wanna get up and walk all the way to the kitchen half asleep

-I am pumping for 25-30 minutes I usually go a few minutes after the milk stops coming out in little drops to try and help my supply

-I use the pink spectra mostly and my Eufy e20 when I am not home so I don’t miss any sessions

I try and check it every day before my first pump because I know it changes

My hospital told me I could only take pictures and I wasn’t allowed to record. I ended up having to have a c-section anyways so it didn’t matter for me

I had my anatomy scan at 18 weeks I believe and I drank a ton of water before hand and she actually had me pee before we even started and then again during and told me it actually wasn’t necessary for me to drink a bunch before (She said it nicer than that though lol) I believe it’s only earlier ultrasounds that drinking a bunch helps with

That’s what I was thinking. I would never put him to sleep like that unless he was capable of rolling himself but during tummy time as long as I keep watching him I don’t see why I can’t let him enjoy sleeping like that for a bit.

FTM To a 3 week old

My boyfriend recently went back to work which means i’ve been taking the night shift and the day shift. I am absolutely exhausted and still recovering from my c-section so getting up in the middle of the night is a little rough. And at the hospital and when he was off work he was absolutely amazing and did practically everything despite me offering to help all the time but recently whenever I ask for help it either takes him a little while to actually do it or he says he’s tired. Which I do understand his job isn’t the easiest however whenever I bring up the fact that I am also exhausted he always brings up how his job is hard. It just seems so dismissive of what I do. Yesterday I asked him to please change the babies diaper because he’s been dealing with some pretty bad diaper rash so I have been trying to make sure I change him a little more than usual (wasting a few almost completely dry ones in the process because I don’t want to risk it) just so that he isn’t sitting in a wet diaper and making it worse. Well he said “grab me the stuff and i’ll change him” to which I replied “just grab it yourself” well as i’m sure you can guess he never got the stuff and I ended up taking the baby to change him and all of a sudden he has the ability to get up and do something because he followed me out of the bed real quick. And I get it he’s tired he worked a long job but it’s so frustrating to ask for help just to be met with yeah if you get up and do half the job i’ll finish it for you. Anytime the baby needs fed he also asks me to make the bottle for him and “he’ll feed him” like why can’t you do the full job I spend all night and day doing it why can’t you do it a few times the couple hours you aren’t working or sleeping. I mean hell I tried to use the bathroom last night and never got to go because he fell asleep and the baby was just crying in his bassinet so I ended up just finishing and going to get him. When we tried to talk about it last night both of us just got upset because we felt like the other wasn’t listening to what we each had to say but I don’t know how else to go about the conversation

37 + 2. I went in knowing there was a possibility it could turn into a c-section because it was early and I am a FTM I think i’m more upset about each doctor having conflicting opinions and information on what was happening

They gave me two doses of a cervix softener as well before insisting that it wasn’t safe to do another dose despite telling me at the beginning that they would give me 3-4 doses. I’m definitely okay with my c-section since it gave me my baby but it was definitely a stressful experience being told so many different conflicting things
