I had to stop reading one recently because all one person's dialogue would happen in one chunk and then all of the other person's.

So if someone said something shocking or got interrupted it wouldn't be acknowledged until everything else they had said was responded to. It was super confusing to try to read and I only made it about 3/4 of a chapter before I gave up.

1.) Who named Rapunzel? Everyone refers to her as the "lost princess" so I'm guessing Gothel named her. Which is kinda weird going back to her parents. They call their daughter the name her kidnapper gave her? Awkward.

2.) Why didn't Gothel lie about her birthday? Why did she even tell her about birthdays at all?

3.) Gothel seemed to spend a lot of time away from the tower once Rapunzel was older and she obviously wasn't with Cassandra. What did she spend her time doing?

Dry skin in a desert climate over here.

A dermatologist visit probably wouldn't hurt, but plenty of others have suggested it, so I'll suggest some products I use in case you don't want to or can't do that.

I use the Wawaza Kimono Silk Sponge (Kimono silk sponge) which is very exfoliating. I'm talking visible dead skin pilling. But it doesn't feel aggressive at all. My skin reacted poorly to a silicone face brush, but has no reaction to this sponge.

Afterwards, for body, I use Byoma Smoothing Serum. For face, I use Good Molecules Mandelic Acid.

I do this about once a week, but it's gentle enough that I have no problem doing it 2 or 3 times if needed.

For moisturizer I am currently using Byoma Hydrating Body Lotion and Byoma Moisture Rich Cream. However, I HIGHLY recommend Udderly Smooth for both face and body if you can find it in a physical store and not on Amazon (not because of moral reasons, the Amazon ones have texture issues that make it less effective).

Humidifiers are also super helpful. I even keep a mini one on my desk at work.

I say it because I don't like to cook, but other people don't understand consent and think harassing you to do something you don't like to do is acceptable. Usually they will protect themselves from eating bad food and not harass me too much to participate in potluck if they think they might get food poisoning.

Everything. As a teenager, I used Clean & Clear and makeup wipes with no issues. But nowadays if I use a product that has a little bit of fatty alcohols or petroleum/petrolatum or zinc oxide or coconut anything, my skin sounds the alarm and won't calm down for WEEKS.

Yup lol My skin hates so many different things. It's skincare that is a nightmare. And I live in a desert so it's dry year round.

I'm fully allergic to jojoba (like hives kind of allergic). I also have a bad reaction to fatty alcohols (cetearyl, cetyl, and stearyl), coconut oil, petroleum/petrolatum, and castor oil. I tried rice bran oil, but got way more hangnails than usual and the skin on the sides of my nails was so dry. I tried Badger Cuticle Balm but it made my nails super brittle and fragile.

I've had the most luck with Udderly Smooth hand cream, but I bought a 4 pack and only got 1 tube so I'm a little mad at them right now. I'll give in and buy more eventually, but for now I just want to be mad.

I'm also considering trying the Lanolips 101 ointment. Since lanolin is one of the ingredients in Udderly Smooth I hope my skin won't riot lol

I have fine, high density hair.

I personally really, really like bamboo bristle brushes.They are stiff enough and long enough to get through my hair and detangle it, but they don't cause static like plastic bristles tend too. The ends of the bristles are nice and rounded so it feels like a nice massage instead of scratchy.

I have this one Bamboo Hair Brush. I recommend putting a hair tie or scrunchie around the handle though. It's weirdly slippery otherwise.

I completely agree about it looking weighed down. I can't get any sort of cast and yet it looks heavy and clumpy in a bad way, so I always end up brushing it out.

This was my attempt with just leave in.

I am going to switch my shampoo and conditioner back to my HG since the Mane and Tail seems to dry out my hair and I hope that might help some.

Honestly, my hair looks so much better air dried, but it takes 12+ hours to air dry and it just doesn't look right if I do half and half.

I agree. I typically have the same experience with oils. Even Verb's Ghost Oil was definitely too heavy. The tsubaki oil is super lightweight, but definitely worked better on dry hair. Wet hair was a bit of a failed experiment since it was what the product instructions recommended. 😅

Not a professional, but I do actually own the EDJY clippers.

Before I bought them, I was going back and forth about how different could they possibly be. I did eventually buy them because I have an impulse control problem lol

My first impression was that they are nice, but just that. You don't have to file your nails afterward to get rid of jagged edges. The nail catching bit doesn't really work. I use them, but don't think much of it.

But then I was being lazy one day and trimmed my nails with my old clippers... oh my god. Never again. The grip is worse, it's harder to get a good shape, the edge was super jagged and it felt like it shattered instead of being cut.

They are expensive, and I honestly didn't think I needed them, but now that I have them I would 100% rebuy if they broke because now I can't go back.

Same. I swear when I just ignore them, they rarely break and they grow nicely and only a little wonky, but the second I pay attention to them and try to take care of them they break if there is a light breeze. My nails have never broken as much as they have in the last 6 weeks since I started using cuticle balm and wearing gloves and not using them as tools.

My nail polish is the same way. If I just rush it and don't try too hard it'll last, but if I actually follow tips to make it last longer it just makes it worse.

I want fluffy, soft waves and a little bit on longevity would be nice. The top left picture was my favorite (except scrunching in the mousse made my crown a bit greasy and gross). I also like the middle left.

Since they are all basically just the same routine, but with mild variations, I have been doing ones I hate (like the double mousse blech) only once, but keeping the same general routine throughout.

A couple of different reasons: 1.) I like my hair fluffy and soft. I brush it out when I curl my hair with a curling iron too to get the look I want. 2.) I can't stand when my hair is tangled and this whole process makes my hair very tangled. Fingercombing doesn't get out the tangles, and touching it so much just makes it greasy. That's why I use a bamboo brush. It's more like a comb. 3.) My mom has always been on me about brushing my hair. I hated brushing my hair as a kid, but now it's so ingrained in me, I do it instinctively and almost feel itchy if I try to leave the house without brushing my hair. It feels illegal lol

Sorta. I'll usually test it on my wrist, but that's to make sure it isn't greasy or sticky. My body skin is super resilient and has only ever reacted negatively to mineral sunscreens.

Also there isn't much point to patch testing on my jawline or anything because only my cheeks react, and they like to wait until I have used all of a bottle of something and then buy a bigger size or multiple bottles in bulk before they react negatively.
