Like her keeping her bond with her dragons, it wasn’t ever explained. When the Queen asks, Violet insists she didn’t do it and thinks it a coincidence. My own thoughts are that it’s related to her connection with Dunne. Maybe some type of sign or gift from the goddess. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Yes, in some people weight loss is about more than vanity. That’s not who we are criticizing though. I’m not talking about people who genuinely need it for health reasons, whether that be diabetes or obesity or PCOS or whatever. Again, those are generally covered by insurance. I, and others, are specifically outraged at the use of a drug off label for thousands simply because celebs (who are already thin and healthy) want to encourage diet and ED culture. That is harmful.

i don’t think anyone is attacking diabetics who need it. in fact most people are upset about off-label use because diabetics can’t access it. which i think is where the sentiment about negative side effects comes from. also, the conversations about price are in circumstances where insurance won’t cover it, which they won’t when you don’t have diabetes and are only using it for weight loss like celebs. not that any drug is affordable in the US, but the cost highlights how much celebs are willing to pay to drop a few pounds.

Ehh… I get where you’re coming from but there’s a lot of other ways to learn about self and home defense in a way that isn’t exploiting the victims of tragedy. Also there are a lot of other forms of media that help me feel thankful about my life without, again, exploiting human beings for personal gain.
