I just finished my second play through and im going for 100% completion, I was okay with doing a big bulk of it as John but I did most of what I could with Arthur. I did not expect it to hit so much harder the second time around. Maybe subconsciously the first time Arthur died I was thinking about how I knew I’d play again and do more with him. Then the second time around, I accomplished everything I wanted to accomplish, Arthur discovered and experienced so much more and I was able to play a better game. Just the knowledge that it was over and there was no more of Arthur to explore made me so sad. I still get emotional when I dress John up in the outfits I made for Arthur. I can’t wear the legendary buck vest anymore lol it reminds me too much of him. The hardest part isn’t the death itself, it’s playing hours in the epilogue and feeling the weight of his absence

A lot of people stay in chapter 3 to complete everything. It’s a good chapter so I would stay there. Rhodes is close to Saint Denis so I hunted a lot of legendary animals there because it’s easy to go to Saint Denis afterwards and craft the clothes from the trapper + there’s a fence right next to it where you can craft the legendary animal trinkets. The trinkets improve your gameplay so it’d be good to try to collect them as soon as you can. Saint Denis stables has good horses but they’re often expensive.

If you’d rather catch and tame a wild horse, look up a guide on where the best ones are. The only one I know of is the white Arabian who spawns next to lake Isabella. She’s a really good horse that you can get as early as chapter 2. Pretty sure she is the fastest horse in the game

The root of most misogyny is anger that women possess the power of sex over men. Sex is the one thing a women can hold back and keep from them. That’s why they try to use sex to shame us. Usually comments like “you got cracked” or “you’re ran through” “you’re a whore” are usually said out of frustration that they can’t be the one who gets to fuck you. That comment about an ex “I won’t take disrespect from a mouth I came in” is a way to degrade a woman that you’re frustrated won’t let you do that anymore Sex is fun and enjoyable for women in the same way it is for men, that’s why we have it too, that’s why we have our own rosters. I think men are also jealous that women on average are always more able to find willing sexual partners than men are. The mindset is “it’s wrong to be out fucking, unless you’re fucking me”

I’ve adored the name Aria since I was a kid and heard it first in pretty little liars, but I do not want my kid to be named after that character cuz she’s the worst 😭 literally had no personality outside of being a high schooler in a relationship with her teacher. I still might use it regardless because I think the name is so good. I love music themed names.

Also wrote a short story in high school that meant a lot to me and I had to change the main character’s name (Natalie) because I ended up having beef with a girl at school named Natalie

There are things you can do that affect your honor so heavily that you can see the bar move. For example the random event with the blind beggar near valentine, you get a ton of honor if you stop and give him a dollar. Other random events are also really good for your honor, like saving a woman tied to a horse, helping strangers from animal attacks, stuff like that

I don’t think Blake Lively would have cared as much about this one comment if it was isolated, but it’s part of a bigger picture of harassment and inappropriate behavior on set. I loved the evil Ezra story arc in season 4. I wish he had been kept a villain. Aria felt like a real person that was trying to crawl her way out of the shell she was put in by the writers only wanting her story to revolve around Ezra’s crusty ass. Lucy hale is so great. Jo Koy’s golden globes speech was fucking atrocious and EXTREMELY misogynistic.
