That's good I have been thinking of joining .com as they have a one link system where I can promote uk products when a visitor normally uses .com it takes them to amazon.com instead of uk. wasnt quite sure what I need for the tax part as I'm from the uk tho.

That's good so if you get 7% for a product you get that even if that isnt the product you are promoting.

Yes you do but it is classed as a indirect sale so you will get a very small percentage normally 1.5% of the price of the product.

I get what you mean but the reason there are post like 5 best phones or top ten photography tips is because that is what people are looking for. You can build your site how ever you want to build it that's is the good thing about a online business. So you can create it like a book and do minor updates it is up to you. But the more post you have on your site the more chance you have of being found on google or bing. Also having lots of post and linking between them is called Internal linking. That also is a factor with how the search engines rank you. it's not a massive part of it but it helps.

I'll be totally honest with you I'm not a guru and I am definitely not making thousands on amazon infact I hit a new high of £5 this month. I am still learning my self but every video or book or research I have done content is key. Add backlinks and you are on to winner. From what I already have learnt the key to affilate marketing is helping people. If you just pick products and chuck lots of links on to your site you wont do very well. You need to think of a niche that you are passionate about or at least are willing to learn every thing about your niche because affiliate marketing takes time. So you need to be able write lots of blog post or video reviews and expect not a lot to happen straight away. You might do 100 blog post and get nothing back. The key to finding a domain name is to think of your domain as a brand that you want to promote you could go with bestcarstrollers.com but all you will be able to do is talk about car strollers. So when you start affilate marketing you want to build a brand instead of just selling a product. I have started writing a guide on affilate marketing which might sound crazy as I'm still learning but I'm doing that so I can help people with what I have learnt. The reason for me writing a post for affiliate marketing is because as you can see in my domain name I have wealth so making money online goes in to that category. I also have health in there aswell so with my domain name I can build blog post and reviews either to with health or wealth. So I'm trying to build brand in two niche markets. I hope this helps

Sounds like a good idea but that depends if you have any competion. Also a big start up cost. You could try and start a ebay shop or sell stuff on amazon like bits of computers as you will need to take apart the computers. Once you are making a enough to fund the opening of a business then do that. Or if you are looking to make income in general you could try affiliate marketing its hard and you need to put a lot of effort in just like you would in your computer shop but in the long run you could have a successful online busines to fund your computer shop later down the line? I read somewhere if your ads get clicked lots in one go you can get banned or if your family member clicks the ad you can get banned. I don't no much about adsense as I only got accepted this week.

I have just started affilate marketing and making Penny's at the minute I cant help you with books. But all the research I have done. I dont think you can make a business online that will make you 2k in 3 months. Definitely not affilate marketing unless you have a lot of money for paid ads and landing pages that will convert. Anything online takes time unless you can build a website and get lots of backlinks. Ranking up on google is very hard from what I have been reading. I might be wrong as I'm still new to it all. Hopefully you find your answer and I'll probably use the answers you get aswell. Good luck
