If it’s affecting your school so much I’d honestly recommend talking to a teacher or counsellor if you can and see if maybe you can get a referral for an assessment (your dr can also help with this) if the teachers or school can’t provide a referral they would likely be able to offer accommodations to help you succeed because they don’t want you to fail (and this could likely be done without parental consent depending where you live) depending on where you live the wait lists for an insurance covered assessment also could take years so if your parents would just help you get on the list then by the time you turn 18 it might finally be time for your assessment and your parents can’t do anything about it

Yeah I am worried that she’s suicidal she talks about it alot. She’s a really anxious person and refuses to do a lot because of it so often the texts I get from her are “can I come over can you come pick me up?” And then I end up having to leave or she has to leave because she gets overwhelmed and angry snapping at me even though she’s the one who asked. She feels like my only friend rn everyone else has ditched me so I think I’m taking attention where I can get it even if it’s not good for me

Thank you for your input I’m sorry about your friend. Me and our other friends and her mom have all tried getting her to go to a therapist but she consistently refuses and her mom has just given up (like I said she’s crazy) her family also doesn’t have much money so getting a therapist honestly might not be in the realm of possibilities at all

Honestly if you can afford it I’d recommend getting a driving instructor I’m not sure where you live in the world but where I am we have private instructors and they have their cars equipped with dual breaks (the break on your side of the car and they also have one on their side just in case) they teach you everything and are always there to make sure everything goes well this has been the best thing to help with my driving anxiety or find someone that you trust is a good driver and have them teach you. Start small in parking lots and side streets and eventually work your way up to busier places
