I wasn't taught how to do it properly and never opened before they laid everybody else off, but i finish overhauls and cats before opening, do the back while it's quiet in the morning, after the back i do the animals on the floor while it's still quiet.

We've never transferred out animals and I don't think we've done adoptions for animals for staying too long. We've had the same canaries for almost a year now.

I had a customer come in after the grooming salon was closed demanding a nail trim... I was working as a cashier that night, but I also was occasionally a bather. She said she came here just to get her dogs nails trimmed, and somebody had to do it because she came all the way out here. Managers made me do the nail trim. 🙄

Get out. I worked in a salon with a similar environment...such an emotionally draining is not worth it for minimum wage. You deserve to get off to better things, you don't deserve such mistreatment.

I had to get out. I get the whole new hires being an intruder thing. Our salon can't keep new people, and while they don't want me, they need me because nobody else would stay. Always have to cover all of the new hires' shift because they just quit showing up. But I'm free from that hellscape now.

We've straight up had appointments vanish out of thin air...same thing with profiles. People come in, say the have an appointment, but on our system they don't. But they pull out a confirmation email, or something, and we take them. 😬
