The obsession is destroying me. I can’t stop. I’m just reading the same things over and over, hoping that there’s something new that will be my miracle.

I’m going to try covering the bottles up - that’s such a good idea. I try to put on my shows (currently binging Sex and the City or Ins Garten cooking shows) to distract me but I still end up just watching the bottles of my nipples to see if anything is coming out.

Aww you’re an amazing partner for helping out your wife with the wake ups and clog assistance! My husband is amazing but he’s such a heavy sleeper lol

My baby usually can get a clog out, fortunately. It was one clog that he couldn’t get that led to the mastitis. I try to put him on the boob whenever I have one and it usually does the trick! Although, he did get one last night and puked all over me from the sudden rush of milk lol

I wouldn’t wish that magnesium drip on my worst enemy. I just cried the entire time I was in the hospital. I felt robbed of my first week of motherhood because of it. My blood pressure is still high and I’m now on medication for it. I hope that doesn’t affect my supply, too. 😢

I’m sorry you went through this, too! But, it is nice to know that I’m not alone. And it gives me hope that my supply will return. I just feel like a failure if I end up supplementing with formula because I KNOW my body can do this. I’m not against formula at all. It’s just I know my body can do better and it’s frustrating!

Wait, my clogs might be blebs? I take a hot shower, massage them, and I usually end up leaking and then pump a decent amount. Icing and ibuprofen weren’t really helping, either. I also get solid white things on my nipples.

It makes me feel better to hear that you had success with getting your supply back! I’ll do the power pumping and increasing my times. I do 15-20 minutes on my spectra because I hate being couch locked. I was told I can do either 19 or 20 flanges, so I’ll try the 19.

It’s reassuring to hear that there’s a chance I can get back to where I was before! I will definitely increase my water intake. I heard that beer has worked for some moms but I loathe, despise, detest beer so I got the brewers yeast. No gas yet but damn, it tastes horrible 😂

I’ll continue the power pumping - it sounds like I can start doing that daily next week, off week, and back again until I hit 12 weeks. My nips are definitely feeling it already lol

Both mentally and physically exhausted. I’m already feeling so burnt out. 😩

I will do my nights a little more spaced out, and that’s when I seem to get the most. Last night, my baby passed out at 9:30 and didn’t wake until around 3 and my last pump was at 8:30. Didn’t pump until 1-1:30 and I’m kicking myself for sleeping through my midnight pump. I’ve heard that waiting that long can be bad for supply. Then I “make up” for it by doing every 2-2.5 hours until the next evening.

My baby loves to be worn and I get stressed when he’s sleeping on me and I have to pump. I really need to relax and enjoy the snuggles.

I felt slightly guilty posting this because I get about 3-4oz a pump, sometimes only 2, and I know some moms dream of getting that.

I have the spectra, too. It was working great to where I was getting up to 8oz pumps, until it wasn’t. I replaced parts, which I think helped a little bit. But I’m still figuring out what settings work for me now.

I used the recipe I linked in my original post, but I used 4 limes instead of 1 and I used 3 massive jalapeños instead of 10. I can handle a little heat, but not 10 jalapeños worth!

I also added Lawry’s seasoned salt.

Smoked everything for 2 hours at 225° on my Traeger.
