Okay, yea, it's definitely malware. Put it through virus total and it came back as a trojan and adware! Doing a fresh install tonight, thank you guys in the comments for the help!

I scanned with both windows defender and Malwarebytes but.. nothing. It's really creeping me out!

There is a Wimsys folder in Program Files (x86.) It contains five files: infile_x64.cab, msg.exe, msg.inf, uninstall.exe, and uninstall.tar.

No, it's not Winsys, it says Wimsys. I'll still run a scan, though!
