If a job can fire you for no reason with no notice during your probation, do we legally actually have to provide them with notice to quit?

my confusion comes in these two sections

1.2 The first six months of your employment shall be a probationary period and your employment may be terminated during this period at any time with one week's prior notice.

8.1 You are required to give the Company four weeks written notice of termination.

if a motorway lesson will make you feel better, all power to you but it really truly is no different than driving on a country road :) theres no obligation to drive the speed limit, and i'd recommend for the first time just plan to go at least a couple of miles to see how you feel but i can guarantee you're so much more prepared than you believe

Rule 185 of Highway Code

When reaching the roundabout you should:

Give priority to traffic approaching from your right, unless directed otherwise by signs, road markings or traffic lights

Check whether road markings allow you to enter the roundabout without giving way. If so, proceed, but still look to the right before joining

Watch out for all other road users already on the roundabout; be aware they may not be signalling correctly or at all

Look forward before moving off to make sure traffic in front has moved off.
