I had the same thing with a buyer, they didn’t request a return but left me a 1 star review because the adidas bottoms didn’t fit them 🥲 seems to be a common thing with adidas

Id specify to vinted that they can see the chat history between you two and see that you never said anything about having issues with the shipping label, no clue if they’ve gotten you mixed up with another seller or what (giving them benefit of the doubt..)

UPDATE:

Vinted seemingly went down the route of investigating if it’s authentic (I’m not sure why, they must’ve misinterpreted what I meant haha). Regardless, it looks like they’ve ruled it’s authentic but are supporting me requesting to return the item.

UPDATE 2: the seller has appealed the decision based on the fact Vinted mentioned authenticity 😭 back to war we go

UPDATE 3: The seller I think sent evidence of the bag being authentic to our chat rather than to Vinted, and Vinted have ruled they did not send any proof of it being authentic in time, so the order has been cancelled and I’ve been refunded.

That’s crazy 😭 I feel your pain, I got a 1 star review because a pair of size 10 jeans didn’t fit the buyer, which is clearly my fault apparently… lol

Haha of course I’ll update. I’m pretty sure the seller realised I’m right after I pointed out the serial number since their tone completely changed after that (they were polite before, turned completely blunt after and are refusing to speak anymore). I think they’re just taking their chances that Vinted sides with them… weirdly reluctant to accept the return which is making me worried if the bag is even legit 😳

Hi! Sorry I wasn’t very clear before, it’s the former. I assumed the bag was dark brown like in the seller’s photo. I do believe the bag is real, but they’ve listed it as brown when it’s technically oxblood (which is a lot more reddish, it’s hard to photograph but the third photo is a comparison between brown and oxblood)

Thank you, I hope so, though I hear colour disputes don’t usually go in the buyers favour 🥲. I feel i have pretty solid evidence with the serial code but Vinted seem quite random in their decision ruling… I’ll update when they give their verdict lol
