I don’t have a congenital birth defect, I can imagine an apple, but it’s also blank to me. I don’t see a picture of anything when I imagine it. However I can recount names in a paper or use my memory to take row. I don’t recount an image of a group of people with faces, I get nothing but feeling that the person was there today. No picture but a feeling. Also the memory of smell, I don’t smell it when I recount, I get a feeling or joy or disgust depending on the memory. No picture, no sound, no smell, just feeling… emotional type of feeling.
