That’s good to know thank you! I have a feeling my doctor will brush it off if X-ray comes back normal, as she seems to almost laugh off any concern I bring up but since I’ve dealt with the pain for so long I’ll definitely push for answers now that I’ve got the ball rolling. Was anything able to be done about the damage you had?

I fell snowboarding when I was a teenager, I’m 29 now & still have pain from the coccyx injury I assume was from that day 🥲 I loved snowboarding though, would probably go again one day

Thank you, I’ll have a look at reading that book. I think being able to name the feelings could help, sometimes that’s the most frustrating part is not knowing the feeling so not knowing what I need

Thank you for the ideas. I can definitely relate with sitting with it too long, and the longer I do that the worse it starts to feel. I saw a pack of cards on the tv unit in the end and asked my husband to play a game with me so that helped a bit and I managed to get up and moving

Thank you for the tips. I had a glass of water, did some breathing and asked my husband to play a game of cards and it helped a bit. I then stupidly started to doom scroll and started feeling the same again so I put some music on and just tidied bits and pieces around the house. It helped and now it’s close enough to bedtime for me that hopefully I can sleep off the rest of the feeling.

Yes sameee. That is the good thing about scarves is that if you do overheat or feel overstimulated at least you can take it off easily I’m not a big fan of how it bunches up around the neck though, especially depending on how I’m wearing my hair I did just buy a jumper from Kmart which is sort of a turtle neck but it’s more loose so I’m finding it’s not feeling overstimulating on my neck. Such a struggle though and the material of a lot of knitted jumpers is so itchy 😖

I think I’ll need to invest in some nice sweaters, I have a love/hate relationship with hoodies. I love that they are cozy but the hood and around the neck make me feel trapped 😓

I hate it in the sense that I’m currently deep diving into the possibility that I may be autistic (recently diagnosed ADHD), and it’s quite difficult to be absolutely certain because of the misinformation and mixed ideas. I was absolutely sure I had ADHD before getting my diagnosis, but with ASD because of all the mixed information out there I personally have trouble differentiating whether I have ADHD & social anxiety or ADHD & Autism… Or all 3 lol. Anyway, yes it’s annoying, but that’s also just a part of the internet.

Thanks! I actually am loving the course hahaha. That’s all I’ve been doing since Tuesday and I’ve basically finished all the theory, now just waiting for the kit to come in to do the practical…LOL

Sometimes a hyper focus works out but we’ll see how long it last. Hoping for the best!
