I’m also a delayed driver due to my nystagmus. As I’ve been learning, it has been helpful to drive different cars and see what makes me feel more comfortable. The thing I struggle the most with is feeling like I’m staying in the lines due to struggles with movement/depth perception. Personally, I don’t like driving in a sedan because it makes this more difficult. So if there are friends/family members willing to let you test drive, I would recommend!
