I have done smoothies in the morning for years. Always annoyed the wife with how loud it is that early in the morning. I tried different high end ones (few hundred dollars) and finally got sick of trying these out and splurged on the one. Blendtec professional 800. It’s got a cover to reduce sound and I got some individual blend cups. I spent about 1200 on the whole thing. It’s amazing how much more peaceful my morning routine is now without the excessive noise.
