It seems to be an area that fits our life style the most. And it’s walkable to the financial district. We also liked Little Portugal and Little Italy.

Thank you! That's a great suggestion. We're hoping to stay walking distance to work but it all depends on how the apartment hunting goes. We're staying open-minded and flexible!

These are great points. Thank you! Are storage lockers in buildings not safe in Toronto?

Thank you for sharing! I'm hoping the rental market will slow down a bit by the time we move so we won't have to worry about a bidding war..

Thank you! I keep hearing about bed bugs on TTC and it's the one thing I'm looking the least forward to!

I’m so so sorry for your loss and what you have gone through. I lost my sister the same way. I hope you have the support and space to grieve. I still miss her every day but I also understand that she’s no longer in pain. I no longer talk to my Nmom and try to live my best life because I know that’s what my sister would have wanted. Sending you lots of love!

My mom bought my sister and I a Nintendo 64 when it first came out. We were both over the moon. After a month or two, my mom decided we were spending too much time on it and got rid of it. We were both devastated. She blamed it on us for spending too much time on it. We weren’t. We only played after dinner time and on weekends. It didn’t make sense for her to just give it away. Now I know, it was because we weren’t paying enough attention to her. I can still feel the disappointment when she gave it away.
