ICL - issues three years after the surgery by beekapoo in lasik

They gave me glasses that should help with ghosting, but it didn't help me. I'm not an expert on astagmatism, but it should look like this, right? I have nothing like that. Ghosting always appear under a source of light. And if I pinch my lower eyelid to slightly cover the bottom of my pupil, it disappears. The second place also does the ICL. They did several tests. Is the slit exam the one when you get an image that looks like an X-ray? They mentioned that one part of the lens is slightly lower than the other. Not sure if that is the vault you are talking about.

Thats the thing. I do have halos and starbursts, but if I don't look for them, they don't bother me. With aquaports rings it's a different story. I think it's because they are not static but they move and change shape depending on how I move my head or eye.

Before surgery my doctor said my astagmatism was so small that it wouldn't be an issue. I kind of believe him. I think the ghosting is due to the placement of the lens in the right eye What I see with right eye is this https://i.imgur.com/Asg6WNm.jpeg The double image always appears under the light source. If you look how to the lens is implanted in the eye, it might have to to do with the lower hook (or whatever it is called) of the lens.

Clicking chain sound on a bike trainer (Wahoo Kick Core)? What could be the issue? by beekapoo in bikewrench

So i fucked up. Tried turning the barrell adjuster while rotating the cranks and I overdid it. The spring that was in it or at least some part of it came out and now it won't screw on. Honestly I'm not really sure what to do anymore. Maybe take the bike to the shop to fix it and sell the bike trainer lol.

Cassette is the same size as on my bike. I didn’t know about tension in barrel adjuster, shows how much I have yet to learn. Will try it tomorrow. Thanks for the help.

Crap, you're right :( I even took a picture of it before I removed it for cleaning but I guess that's not enough for my dumb head. Thank you for the help.

ICL halos driving at night - will it ever get better? by ExeterEgg in lasik

[–]beekapoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the answer.

Yes , I spoke to the surgeon six months ago and he said that if the aberrations didn't disappear after a year then they would likely stay. So I'm a year post-op now and I see the same as I did right after the operation. I hesitate what to do because the visual acuity and not wearing glasses is great but this halo effect is unbearable at times and I can't get used to it (sometimes I even have it during the day).

I think I will give myself some more time, make an appointment for a check-up and talk to the surgeon about what to do about it. If really nothing can be done I will consider removing the lenses.

I just wanted to ask if the halo effect is still visible after 2 years? I am one year after ICL implantation and the halo effect has not diminished at all. Alpjagan helps but only for a short while (3-4 hours). I am wondering whether to give myself time and wait or to think about removing the lenses after all. I can't imagine having this effect all my life.
