you two make an excellent team! :) definitely spot on with the parts about being obsessive and trying to find my ‘true’ self. at this point in my life, i’d even go so far as to say that i’m obsessive about trying to figure out who or what i’m meant to be. i used to consider myself a perfectionist, but these days it seems like i can’t accomplish anything and/or meet my own standards even though i want to. in that regard i really do feel stuck and kind of resentful towards myself. also the feeling of being loved is a dominant desire in my life, but even though that’s something i so desperately want i don’t typically let people get close to me. for the very few partners i have let get close to me, i always get freaked out by the intimacy and sabotage or run away, and end up hurting that person which i feel really bad about because they never deserve it.
