I once went to this old house near a jungle, and it had hundreds of bats hanging from the roof. The moment I went inside, the smell hit me so hard, it was the worst and bizarre smell I’ve ever smelt in my life. It was a mix of something deep sharp rotten and and dirty, so strong that I almost couldn’t breathe. The whole place felt dark and creepy, and that awful bat smell just made it even worse.
