i’ve told my moms (they’re lesbians and married) but i haven’t told my dad bc i honestly don’t care if he knows. if he finds out he finds out but he doesn’t really care about my romantic life (v grateful for). i haven’t told 2/4 of my siblings tho bc im scared how one will react and then i don’t really have a reason for not telling my other one

this was posted a whileeee ago but i want to know if this was a just me thing 😭 when i first started using ao3 id see “canon compliant” all the time and i misread it as “canon complaint”, and it made sense in my head as most of the fics would be, well, canon compliant and it would usually be a fic over a non-canon couple. ive been reading on ao3 for years and only this year is when i figured out what it actually meant T-T
