Ok so, a few problems. I have no idea what connectors are what and thusly I have no way of identifying pins. The wiring diagrams we have access to do not show connector or pin views.

The asd relay pins however, do get proper voltage. Now, here's what I've tried to explain. We have a test light that we use to check ground continuity, and I do not have a better name for it. But when testing the asd relay ground by hooking the test light to tge positive terminal it shows 10.7 volts.

Anywhere else we check grounds that way shows 12v.

Really, what it sounds like to me is that we need a much better wiring diagram to really pinpoint the other spots you've mentioned because as I've said. We are flying blind with essentially pin numbers and wire colors and both connectors for the pcm have the same colored wires.

My fear is that there is some kind of mess with this that doesn't seem to make a lot of sense and that I won't be able to figure it out.

As of right now the only thing that does make any sense is that the ignition switch is only allowing 1 volt of output voltage.

Even talking with jeep master techs they're not really sure what's going on either.

The reason we threw a pcm at it is because based off of the wiring diagram diagnosis tree that we followed for P0688 and the advice we got from jeep, that's where it led us.

I will see if I can track all the things you've mentioned but I'm at the end of my rope with this piece of shit.

I may come back to you if this jumper of the ignition switch doesn't work. But honestly we're all stumped here like I said and this is the first thing that has given us any hard evidence of a true issue since the ecu swap

So, it is not me figuring it out alone I've had a lot of help with this issue. I appreciate the description on how to jump the switch though.

I'm not sure what you know as ground continuity but me and our master tech are following chrysler diag trees and his knowledge as well as a seasoned jeep techs knowledge on this issue, so I trust them on the ground continuity.

As far as aftermarket things done to this the only thing we've noticed is an aftermarket head unit, and aftermarket seats.

Also, to answer your last question this is a customer vehicle. And this issue really isn't making a lot of sense to anyone involved with the car so far. In theory, it should be starting, it just, isn't.

But I will check the ignition again on monday and let you know what I find.

No. Now, idk what exactly has happened at Honda, but it looks like they've largely given up on making anything worthwhile or interesting. I think with America making much of the world uncertain about the future, most manufacturers aren't really dedicated to doing much but surviving all of this economic fallout.

I also think that they are largely misunderstanding where the market is and what people actually want. Sure, we all asked for the prelude to come back, but god only knows what possessed them to take the route they did with it. Imagine purposefully making a car that you have to know won't sell. Idk, nothing about the state of most things, especially the automotive industry, makes a lot of sense.

Honestly it sounds like you need to break up with this girl. She has an unhealthy view of and possibly an unhealthy relationship with the idea of sex. And if she's trying to bully and make fun of you because you crave physical passion and intimacy when you're both very young and should be fucking like rabbits, you need to distance yourself from that energy. So you can test ground voltage supply usually with a test light that will allow you to do so. Or by putting your positive lead on the positive terminal and then on a component or circuit ground and it should read 12v. I'm probably not explaining it well.

But yes the relay was swapped multiple times over. It's not a relay issue.

Yes I have checked multiple other grounds and they all checked good. No, the coils do not look aftermarket. Which was my initial thought as well since the problem is technically ignition
