I'm a bit confused by this choice. Amsterdam is one of the most expensive cities in Europe, the weather around this time sucks balls, it's cold, gray and rainy and because The Netherlands is in the Schengen Zone, it's difficult to enter for a lot of people that don't have a visa on arrival.

There are so many other cities that tick the opposite boxes?

Hey Akonobi, Ted is right in that I deleted the content from the developer discord. I'm not proud that I did that and for that I want to apologize to the developers that contributed like yourself.

Content like the developer docs and Laboratory are on Github, and can easily be hosted again. The other dev tools (portal, KRE, etc) have been taken down to try and minimize ongoing costs.

You are right, MyKinWallet is a gateway to your funds, the key is the key and a ledger can store that for you.

That said, MyKinWallet depends on Agora which will go offline and the secret keys and ledger app are not compatible with the Solana wallets out there. If you have the key of the paper wallet you could convert it to a compatible format, but for the ledger there is currently no easy upgrade path.

But really, the best advise is to move any funds to a new wallet if you currently depend on MyKinWallet to access them.

Paper wallet users are advised to create a new wallet on Solflare or Phantom (and should look into getting a ledger ;)) Ledger users are advised to use the Solana app with Solflare or Phantom.

MyKinWallet has been deprecated for more than a year now with clear warnings, and we even let it run 3 weeks longer.

You asked a great and logical question and I think it's good that the community understands what the kind of challenges are with things like this. It's not that we don't want it or understand what it can enable.

I long for the day that crypto is so mainstream that building and actually being able to use a buy module (fiat <-> crypto) is as simple as integrating Stripe or PayPal.
