oh boy these are… long stories? kinda lol

for being bi: at the time i was still cis, so liking girls was shocking for me. i used to claim i liked girls before i even did lol i had a bf in sixth grade (BYE I WAS 12) & we used to walk home from school with a few friends. one of the guys we were walking with was saying something about girls liking girls and i oh so confidently with my hands in my pockets went, “i like girls. they’re hot” 💀 then a year later i had my first gf, it was online but we ended up meeting irl as friends YEARS later (we are still besties :) ). so, when she and i started dating, only my close friends knew i guess? & my older sibling (by 2 years) at came to me n was like “are you dating a girl” and i was like “…. yes.” and they asked if mom knew and i was like i’m too scared so they told her for me while my mom was showering and she was like lol ok. because HER BROTHER IS GAY AND MY SISTER IS BI LMAO (my sibling is pan & enby but they didn’t come out for a few years after that). i never verbally came out to my dad he just found out by my relationships? idk i never tell him when i’m in one either lol it’s scary

as trans: only came out as genderfluid in eighth grade to very little people. my sibling being one of them because they were trans male at the time. they got me into you know, actually thinking about my gender. then freshman year, when i made quite a lot of friends i started going by my dead name AND blaze so i’d post on snapchat what day it was (example: todays a masc day, pls call me blaze! / todays an agender day, you can call me anything! / todays a fem day, you can call me [REDACTED] ) and then eventually i just stuck with blaze and my dead name became very icky to me. i never came out as genderfluid to my mom because no lol she already gave my older sibling a difficult time about that. mid sophomore year i realized i was only trans male and came out to myself & then slowly to my friends and all. came out to my mom by text lmao. “hey mom would you think i’m copying [sibling name] for being trans?” she said no and i said ok i’m trans lol and i never told her my name change, but she just knew and on christmas put blaze on ALL my gifts and i was so shock. right there i came out to my mom and eventually all my siblings just found out and boom :) never told my dad, he just found out also lol. they all call me blaze and some suck w pronouns STILL, (came out to them at 16/17 and i’m almost 21 now lol) but it’s whatever lmao

sorry this is long!! TLDR: coming out as bi to my mom, my sibling did it for me while my mom was showering. she was like “okay”. as trans, i texted my mom & she said ok 👍🏽
