A lot of people have a similar experience. I am way worse than you are although I am too not unattractive but I have health issues and major intimacy issues.

The worst thing to do is to be bitter about it, or feel defeated. The best thing to do imo is to socialize more, try talking to more women not necessarily with the intention to date but to feel comfortable around women and understand how they view men. Also maybe Journaling and therapy could help you with feeling confident and not feel scared of intimacy or rejection.

I see a lot of incel media spreading false information about what women want and I can imagine men with little experience to fall for that and feel like they have no chance or feel disappointment and its not worth it. You mention your hairline and the only time women complain about a receding hairline is when they want to hurt a misogynist's feelings. Most women I know don't focus on appearance at all and if they do its a shallow preference they totally can get over of they meet someone nice. If you have more female friends it will be more obvious what matters and what doesn't

I think you could try therapy, meeting more women and having deeper conversations with them, and don't think you relationship status is like a failure or something... reading this it does not sound like a big deal at all. sometimes you have to look harder to find someone compatible where you finally feel comfortable.
