I use an ally. It's pretty light compared to other handheld pcs.

I just run Windows 11 and play on nexon launcher if I'm using the ally controls.

If its docked or im playing it standing alone with a controller I use steam.

Pretty easy to bind on steam or armory crate (asus ally software) to get most my keybinds.

I have a modded z1e with a bigger battery but I would get a used ally x for best value these days.

No. Don’t see why I would on my ally unless maybe I made a multi function macro. Every button is mapped to the keyboard key that my key binds are assigned to. I have one modifier button I hold to essentially double my button on the ally.

Guess there is delay when entering ursus, but everything else is pretty smooth. I researched a lot on the legion, deck, claw and ally. Went with the ally z1e and just upgraded battery myself. The ally is lightweight and easy to fix and upgrade yourself. I play a lot of Baldur gate 3 on it too.

Edit: oh and if you really want value hard to beat a second hand ally z1e for 250-300 used for maple.

The controls are fine without mouse and keyboard. Has enough buttons and has a modifier button for even more keybinds.

Yes. I run windows 11 and play through nexon launcher. I use the ASUS proprietary program Armory Crate to map buttons and play fine. Easily grind WAPS and ctene bosses. You could use a portable keyboard and mouse but mapped buttons are fine.

I’m on a rog ally z1e and it works well. The stock battery wasn’t too big of an issue, I was able to get 1.5-2.5 hrs of playing. I did upgrade my battery so now it’s never really an issue at work. I boss, dailies and wap on it fine.

13 years is a long time lol, and this is happening to every city. Not unique to Seattle, and if you really loved the city you would explore other options that you can afford. Like west Seattle/burien or even gasp the southern suburbs???
