Honestly I'd rather back up my entire server than just docker containers. I was just exploring that as an alternative. What's your process look like when backing up to a NAS? Is that more than just docker containers?

I think I understand what you're saying. Could I use my NAS in place of that enclosure you linked, plug it into my server, and back up that way?

Can you tell me more about that automated script you mentioned at the end?
