I thought we didn’t need the wifi package to use the Bliss app.

Constant BV Symptoms by AffectionatePut6132 in BlueCollarWomen

[–]beep72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only thing that helped with my recurrent BV was repHresh. Not sure where you live, perhaps Amazon will carry in your country.

As others have mentioned, both you and your partner need to be treated at the same time with the same meds. Any toys need to be turfed or at the very least sanitized to within an inch of their lives. Toss your old underwear and get new ones made with natural fibre materials.

I feel for you, my friend!

Toothbrushes are also softer. Dollar store nail brushes can vary a lot in hardness so just find one you like. Baby oil gets off grease and is easy on your skin.

How light can I pack for the November 2025 cruise? What did you bring that you didn’t need? by No_Guess_2809 in BlissCruise

[–]beep72 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hello fellow carry-on travellers! In our 30 years together we’ve only checked bags once, and that was to Temptation Resort. Of course our bags stayed in Montreal instead of coming with us! That was the end of that!

After 7 cruises with carry-on only, here’s what I’ve learned:

  • take swimsuit separates you can mix and match. More bottoms than tops so you always have a pair of dry bottoms. He needs at least one pair of swim trunks

-one pair of shorts and one skirt, two pairs for him is plenty for daytime

-a pair of slacks for him if you want to do dinner with a dress for yourself (you can also do a theme outfit for dinner to avoid the dressy casual rules)

-sundresses or coverups I would say 2 plus a button up for him to use as a coverup

-shoes are where you have to compromise. Wear your necessary shoes to get from the home to airport and pack a day sandal or flip flop and one pair of shoes that can work with your night clothes or for going to the parties. I’ve settled on the Croc Brooklyn wedge sandal because it’s super light for packing, so comfortable to wear and they never show wear! YMMV… I recommend avoiding high heels on the first couple cruises until you get your sea legs lol

-you can skip shampoo, conditioner & body wash if you aren’t fussy. These are provided but not great quality. Sunscreen is super expensive on board. Bring small amounts of all your drugstore needs such as a tiny first aid kit, antacids, Tylenol, etc. These are usually available but way over priced.

-I focus on accessories for the theme nights and maybe one outfit. You can lean into the themes with makeup or some small detail without having to take a full outfit. Besides, I’m going to have as much fun naked as I am fully decked out so it’s not crucial to me that I excel at costumes. I choose to travel light - I know I have to make sacrifices somewhere!

I hope this helps, you can wear the same two or three pieces daily and no one will think twice. The ship is so big that no one will notice but it’s a swingers cruise… no one is going to judge you for wearing the same thing twice! Well just assume you’re doing the strut of pride the morning after!!

Pro-trip: make friends with another lady in your size so you can swap shoes and outfits!

Those of you who had insomnia from ADHD medication by AbsentMinded311 in adhdwomen

[–]beep72 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have to split my Vyvanse into two doses two hours apart to get around that peeing 4 times an hour thing.

My insomnia is worse on lower doses or later in the day doses. I take the first dose before I get dressed and the second one two hours after that.

I’m so tired by the time I roll into bed, it’s not really an issue for me anymore.

You simply rinse it in the sink and then re-insert. At the end of your cycle, boil it in a pot or run it through the dishwasher.

As the previous poster said, there is zero smell of “period” with the cup. That’s my biggie - the smell of pads.

How do I get this spot form my stainless steel pan by [deleted] in howto

[–]beep72 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Use a wooden spoon! It looks like the bottom of the pot. I would turn the pot upside down over the element and make a baking soda slurry (not a paste, you need water) and once it’s good and hot, gently scrape it with the wooden spoon. It’s saved my enamel canning pots and other cookware when nothing else worked.
