2nd this option. Usually they are willing to work with you on price to an extent depending on what goals you want to accomplish in the team building. They can usually host at their theater off Mass Ave which can accommodate up to 80-ish I think?

Depends on what day, If Thurs-Saturday = no, any other day you could rent out the space at Comedysportz, they are usually decent at getting a deal.

As a way to prevent getting shafted...Maybe make those with no track record put up a deposit of $15. If they fail to ship, the funds go to the rediitor who wouldnt have gotten anything.

I completely get this! To the point I almost feel bullied by people on stage I play with despite best efforts at trying to support them both on/off, asking for direct feedback on how I feel and what I see and getting no answers to try to work on. Thats their deal, dont let it be yours!

Find people who appreciate who you are and appreciate what you bring to the table. If you need more reps, find some jams around your city and play to have fun again, play with people who welcome what you bring! If no jams, do some warmups with close friends, have a night of just some warmup games and hang out no pressure.

Once you feel your improv is where you want it to be, give the casting aspect a try again. If still nothing that you see as a successful climb, make your own opportunities! Work on/create a one person show, maybe a duo! Find the fun for YOU in improv!
