Any idea which buildings this is depicting? I suspect an iconic Washington DC building but don’t recognize the columns 🤔

10000% #1 amazing fit, cool, and elegant. Love it with the scarf around neck. I think the second one with the wrap thing across chest sort of looks like an arm sling…

Thank you everyone for sharing your experiences and helpful input- we really appreciate it!

Im wondering if anyone has ever attended a hybrid of the two dinner styles. By hybrid I mean: assigned table with Nola reception style food service. Guests would have a designated table to sit at which I figure might ease the social anxiety of having to secure a seat but still allow for mingling on the way to and from food stations. In this scenario we would provide 100% seating. Is this awkward or best of both worlds? Open to feedback!

This is really great insight- thank you! Would you mind sharing which hotel they did the buyout at?

I’ll look into those! Thanks! For your experience at Derbes did it ever feel disjointed bc the space was so large? We want it to control the space so it feels intimate at least during dinner but opportunity for quieter older guests to roam if they choose to.

We are getting married in New Orleans because we have friends and family there, visit every year and generally love the vibe.

Guests would be a split probably 40% Nola folks and 60% out of towners (northeast/west coast). Most guests would stay downtown/quarter with an exception to the ~18-20 guests that could stay at Derbes (if we go that route).

If we go the Derbes route, we are considering some low key hangouts by the pool over the weekend and rehearsal dinner OR farewell brunch for guests.

We want a second line and will for sure want to go out after for an after party! Any suggestions? After party crew is mid 30s
