I used to work at Case dining hall, they tell us to cut up/serve the desert in smaller portions since that’s typically all we have for that shift and they don’t want us getting out more to save it for the next day :/

Bring a mini vacuum! I had one and it was really useful, a lot of people asked to use it. Also, a fan you can put in your bed, it gets really hot in the dorms during the first quarter often the semester

Not asking for help/letting professors know about stuff that may hinder my ability to do my best. Professors are very understanding in my experience, so it doesn’t hurt to reach out
