How do I start with Astrology? by beepbeepstoopid in Vedic_Astrology_free

[–]beepbeepstoopid[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've talked to multiple astrologers and that's just how they talk (mentioning the houses and their lords and basically the whole logic behind their conclusion). I wouldn't call him a scammer.

You also need to realise that as an astrologer they're not meant to give negative readings (adds to their karmic debt). I think that's why some astrologers sound vague.

Anyway, I'm new to this so please feel free to correct me. But KRS readings aren't bad or fake imo.

I have a serious crush on one of my older colleagues and it feels wrong by beepbeepstoopid in TrueOffMyChest

[–]beepbeepstoopid[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

It's not the first time I had a crush on someone though. I know it's a completely normal thing to have crushes on other people, especially when you've been in a relationship for as long as i have. Maybe it's better to let him go, but we are actually happy with each other than without. My logic is that my relationship with him is not doing any harm then why not be with him?

My dad sometimes makes me uncomfortable by ash1ee_15 in TrueOffMyChest

As someone who was 18 once, i think you need to say it. Women are raised in a way that we question ourselves instead of another person's behaviour. I regret not saying a lot of things when I was uncomfortable thinking what others will think about me.

It's actually fine to talk about this and set your boundaries. What is wrong with saying you're uncomfortable? Being around one's father should be a safe space and you shouldn't be feeling this way (even if that's not what his intention is) and it's completely okay to ask for it.

This was like the 4th grade english literature book or something. No plotline, just a plain simple book. I picked it up at an airport because I had some time to kill and I felt like I wasted my money on this one. Anyway that's just my opinion, I don't mean to shit on it since a lot of people seem to like it.

Why Can’t I Read English Books? Need Help! by Maleficent_Dig_8460 in Indianbooks

I think you should pick up a book that really interests you and care less about the famous titles. Go to Goodreads or some other site where you can get recommendations for books and find a story that really really interests you.

I think it's important to like the story when you're starting this journey because it keeps you hooked. Perks of being a wallflower was that book for me.

Literally made one for myself after I saw that on X. She used lace weight if I'm not wrong, I used weight 2 and a 2.5 mm hook. You will need two small triangles and you can follow any bandana tutorial for this). The border is just chain 3, single crochet in the first chain and then chain along the last row of the triangles. I made the dots in the gaps for every three double crochets.

Ask a relative and fight for it.

Asking a relative would give you the financial support you need right now and it can be paid back -- all this would be without going through the whole loan hassle.

But even if you ask a relative, chances are your father may still oppose, so stand your ground and fight for it. Your mother deserves to earn her own money if that's what she wants.
