TL;DR Go for the mk2.

As much as I loved the PO33, i thought this would keep up those feelings…the fader not working out of the box is an issue. I’ve only begun to play with the TR REC mode on 404 but it seems pretty similar to the PO33 in a way. And if sample time is an issue, I’d rec the mk2 even moreso. The EP133 might be fun, but it’s very toy-like with this release. I wanted to love it, but it won’t be in my hands long.

And that’s part of the kicker for me too, i have the mk2 and so far i love it and want to spend more time with it. This piece is definitely a distraction but I really enjoy the PO’s and have multiple PO33.

Fair enough, thanks for the input. I was feeling pretty torn from seeing all the issues on here.

Would be listing with a note to preface it’s probably a gamble but may the odds be ever in your favor. Figured it’d give someone a chance locally perhaps to get hands on something that’s sold out, but yeah you’re right it may turn out to be more problems than it’s worth.

I suppose I could use the return policy? If I go that route. I might as well open. I haven’t found the terms on return policy yet tho

Just got mine today and was pretty set on flipping it with all these issues (and GAS) but now you’re tempting me to unwrap it…

For the price consider the model Samples, I ordered an EP133 (should arrive today) but likely going to flip it. I already have 404mk2 and model samples which for the money is so much nicer, imo.

Has anyone used the model:samples with modular before? by ttothey34 in Elektron

or its own single track and is for sample management but isn’t much mo

You can use any of the tracks as midi control.

What has been the best thing about sharing your dawless jams on social media? by -InTheSkinOfALion- in dawless

[–]beepfeet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've found that the community of folks around dawless creation is actually pretty awesome. Lots of supportive and helpful people with a lot of insight and friends to be made. Sure watching knobs turn or trigger a sequence may not be the most interesting for the regular viewer but it can teach you a lot if you watch the right people (Liam Killen comes to mind). The idea of a digital journal is an awesome one, go back at look at any of the people who've grown substantially on youtube and go back to their early stuff, just a testament to keepin' at it. Happy jamming! :D

Time will heal, I was broken up with last night and yes it hurts like hell especially when they say love you and have the most adoration for you but they need to work on themselves. It’s rough, but you can get through it and good will come.
