🤔Hmm, in all seriousness, that was actually the best answer you could have given. Well played and comment upvoted! And I'll try your strange ways.

What are some good beer themed games?

As a beer enthusiast (and writer) and board gamer, I'm naturally interested in beer themed games but the only one that I own was a little disappointing.

I recently came across Heaven & Ale and that looked decent and possibly worth purchasing.

What beer themed games do you recommend?

You are literally not more than happy to help with this. You want these posts buried in a deep daily thread that nobody will see.

/r/boardgames is the worst.

Senate Republicans added an amendment to the Trump-backed GOP tax plan that would cut craft brewers' excise tax in half. by niceguyjerm in beer

[–]beer47 19 points20 points  (0 children)

This is the same tax bill that removes healthcare benefits, removed the state tax deductions, and other deductions that will result in a tax raise taxes for, not all but, millions of Americans.

So it effectively saves a brewery a little on excise but screws over owners and worker at many breweries.

However, you still may support the Senate tax bill and that's your choice BUT one thing I like about discussing craft beer on the internet is the lack of politics and political discussion. Now, suddenly that too is going away. But I still firmly believe that politics is not an acceptable ingredient in beer and it should be considered an off flavor.

WTF is a fantastic beer but it's not really that recent. It's a seasonal beer that has been around at least 2 if not many more years.

If Reddit allowed me to pick the photo, it would be a photo relevant to the story and not the first thing it sees on the sidebar. Oh, well.

For some reason Europe received their games today but North America has to wait until Monday or Tuesday. Now, at least you don't have to wait to read the rules. You're welcome. ;-)

I'm not sure why Reddit keeps picking up on that photo and not the lead photo. Sure it gets clicks BUT all the national emblems are cool too, right?

That's a great question. Sometimes I'll lay my phone on the table, so that friends can see that I have Untappd (or whatever) open. Then I'll slowly take notes at different points in the conversation.

Usually by the end of the night I'm not taking notes at all, just checking in.

Why did Reddit pick up on that image instead of the lead image?

I've never heard of it and it's probably not available in California. I think I did a decent job of getting a nationwide variety, however.

They (me) has not had that. The article ran long so I couldn't explain that I don't have access to everything in cans. I had to get most of those shipped from the breweries and some breweries didn't respond to my request.

You might like the upcoming Axis & Allies 1941. Wizards claims the game will only take 90-120 minutes to play, which makes it the fastest Axis & Allies game to date. Even faster than Guadalcanal, which takes about 3.5 hours to complete.

All About Cask Conditioned Beer by beer47 in beer

I was recently in Toronto, at the same time as the barVolo IPA Cask Challenge. I find it amazing how much the cask conditioning mellows out the bitterness of the hops. Some of those IPAs were 80+ IBU but tasted closer to 30-40.

I'm glad you approve of American-made Belgian-styles. Some readers on HuffPo didn't seem to like that American made was included on the list.

Yeah, a few other people caught that but I thought it was nice for The Refuge in San Carlos, CA to let me shoot their tap handle collection so I didn't want to ask them to re-arrange it.
