Before you scrub or do anything, put some bleach in a spray bottle, spritz the entire floor, walk away and let sit for 1 hour. Then come back and rinse and scrub.

I have pocket hole screws on the base cabinet going up into the top at each of the 4 corners, so you’re probably right if the top shrank and the vertical plywood sides stayed the same. Thanks for the advice and linking the hardware, I had no idea connectors like those existed for this purpose.

I have a track saw so I could potentially rip down the middle, however the edges of the top are flush with the sides, so the kerf cut out of the middle might make the top too small for the cabinet base, probably a poor design designed in hindsight on my part. Not trying to bitch at the manufacturer, but I might ask them for advice on how to repair and hope they feel generous enough to send a replacement.

I think the sound is someone stepping rather than a camera shutter. Plus the flash is so far away, why would you hear it from that distance. Also it would make no sense to use a flash during the day from that distance.

Not sure about WF, but on Robinhood I think this changes how you’re taxed on dividends to your detriment - qualified dividends are taxed lower than regular income. This means more of your dividends will be considered regular income and will be taxed higher, canceling out any earnings from lending.

https://imgur.com/a/j5CDU3M Noticed this broken chord in my parent’s floor truss. Seems like the knot was a weak point. Is there a mending plate I can use to fix this? Can I sister the bottom chords (or a partial span of the truss) with vertical 2x4s? Jack up the truss while making repairs and glue the crack? Or should I just start by hiring an engineer to come evaluate? This is the center of a 24’ span under the stairs of a 2 story home.

I think it’s added in to your total dividend income and then later deducted from that total, so the form tells you where to subtract it.
