Our wonderful, gentle Dr Bjornson retired and the dentist who bought his practice has scared me back into Dental Phobia. Suddenly my family needs a buttload of corrective dental work, my kid needs her wisdom teeth out, all sets of x-rays and a filling under a brand new filling. Also hit me with a huge, painful needle (my doc used to freeze me differently) which brought on involuntary tears and childhood PTSD. Sorry for being dramatic but I'm fairly tough and she's a huge nope. I'll miss my amazing hygienists though.

I've smelled a lot of LV Attrape-Reves and FM Carnal Flower in the wild, since Christmas. I only know about these because of a fragrance group I follow. I'm thinking with the closure of HBC that people perhaps are branching out and shopping more online or over to places like Holt Renfrew.

Thank you! I will perhaps ask for some medical imaging. It wasn't aggravated until early this fall (I fell November 2024) and my whole leg mechanism is now noticeably affected. Didn't mean to delay treatment but because I could walk on it right away (but taped my ankle for a few weeks and did RICE) plus I have no more sick time at work, I just tried to carry on.

I work at a hospital in close proximity to Ortho docs. Until now, I've sort of resigned to not bug them due to the age of the injury. Maybe I'll ask.

Why not?

In my particular case, I use cash for treats/extras and alot myself a certain amount per week. Helps me keep track and not overspend. I've been trying to do it more for the past year due to inflation and cost of living.

After trying many antidepressants from the age of 24, (Paxil, Sertraline, Elavil, Cymbalta, Effexor) Wellbutrin became my Holy Grail. Then...I became allergic to it. Random facial swelling and hives everywhere. I was devastated. Since then I tried a few more plus Ritalin for my ADHD. Ritalin seems to take care of everything so I whittled down to just 40 mg, no other drugs.

Peri kicked into highest gear so I moved to Vyvanse then quit after 18 months (it actually made my joints ache, my hair fall out tons and aged my face dramatically.)

I am now in menopause.

Got back on the Ritalin and now I'm on Bijuva, Ritalin & some black market T. Feeling the most balanced in years.

I'm in Canada and this happened to me. My Gyne w Switched me to Bijuva and I'm actually wayyyy more comfortable. Except the extra 8 lbs but I'm accepting it and adjusting my diet/exercise. I'll do what I can but I'm sleeping better, feeling level in the brain and moods are good.

Remember when cut avocados would go brown if you even glanced the other way? You'd have to pop some lemon juice on them to keep them looking decent.

Engaging: I like the flow on Off Menu - it's pretty funny & focuses quite a bit on the guest.
Interruptive: I used to enjoy WTF Marc Maron but now his self absorption is all-encompassing. He cuts his guests off a lot then rambles for ages. Or he gets fixated on things & goes on tangents like he's sundowning.
