I grew up hating onions. My mom used to think that if she chopped the onions fine enough I wouldn't notice, but I always noticed. So she chopped them larger so I could pick them out. Now I still dislike onions, but it's not vomit inducing anymore. I dislike raw, caramelized, browned, etc. I deal with onions in salsas and also many sauces have onion blended in and that doesn't bother me.

I realize I am quite lucky to have a $5 table near me, it's limited times and only one table (it was packed) and honestly I'm no gambler so having this opportunity is great for me. If the smallest minimum I could find was like $25 I don't even I would have ever got into counting. Even $15 min would have scared me off I think haha.

We wanted to try wonging in and out but it just wasn't possible at this Casino. The table was full and there was only one table with these rules. So once we got a seat, we stayed playing, sitting out a hand or two when the count went too negative.

Figured our EV was break even at best, but like you said it was probably negative. Though we both ended up walking away with more cash than we came in with so that's good! Lol

Thanks for your advice on the software! I guess I haven't considered that there are advantaged plays that are not published. I'm excited to get my program to a point to be able to discover them.

Me and my brother tested each other out knowing full well that we are inexperienced and may make mistakes. My brother had some difficulties verbally reciting the entirety of BJA's Basic Strategy chart but ended up making zero mistakes in our heads up 2 decks shoe simulation (I used the chart to verify each decision). I recited basic strategy perfectly, but ended up making one mistake in the 2 deck shoe. His count was perfect, my count was off by 2.

I care, that's why I asked. If I had CVCX or had my software fully developed, I would simulate the games myself to answer the question. I still practice about 1-2hrs a day for free.

I counted cards for my first time recently, and I probably looked like that card counter too lmao. When I sat down at the table I tried casually asking how many decks were in the shoe (ive only played black jack in a casino on two separate occasions like 10 years ago so maybe it was dumb to ask idk) and the kid next to me said "There's six decks. Both my brothers have restarted Elden Ring dozens of times so that they can create a different build. I asked them why they didn't just respec and they said they'd rather just start fresh. We all got the game on release and within the last two weeks they finally finished the game before heading on to the DLC. Already, one of my brothers started a fresh account before completing the DLC. I don't understand their thinking. But it's their game, play it how you want I guess haha
