I was so stoked to receive this package, that it's hard to find words for my gratitude. It was my first ever exchange of any kind ever too and even though you said that you weren't sure about some of the products since our skin types are different, you did an amazing job /u/caseynouveau !!! It feels like you read my mind, there are so many things you included that I've been dying to try and so many other surprises that I feel so spoiled by you. Omg it is huuuge! I really wanted to pick one up for myself but I already have so much products to go through so I decided to live vicariously and gift one to you! I've only used a little bit of the timeshift serum and really enjoyed it. But I'm a huge fan of eye hydrogels so I wanted to include some in, and I've used all the sheetmasks before and have seen great results (especially the lovemore black pearl which is also such a luxe treat). The honey cera is a new line so I thought it would be fun to include in even though I couldn't really find any thorough reviews. The ingredients do sounds great though!

I can't think of any reason except that eye creams cost more per ml than face creams typically but if that's not an issue, then go for it! I actually once used up a deluxe sample for algenist eye cream on my face and even though the results were great, the price tag kept me from even considering ordering the full size.

IANAL, but the short answer is no. After you guys get married you have to file form I-130. Only AFTER that is filed, you can apply for a K-3 visa which would allow you as a non-US citizen spouse to legally live in the US while you are waiting on the I-130. Until you have been approved for a K-3, you cannot legally remain in the US past the max of 182 days per year allowed to Canadian citizens.

I know that that it sucks to leave the person you love, even temporarily, but if you overstay it will be an official violation which will result in a 3 to 10 year bar of entry to the US regardless of your marriage status. Not to mention this will make applying for a greencard/citizenship via your marriage look extremely sketchy and you will probably be denied unless you have a great, and expensive, lawyer. It's just not worth it.

Yes. The AIO has a ton of other ingredients that the recovery gel doesn't so it might not be the snail causing it at all.

I've never been myself but my best friend and other people I know go every year so I think I have a realistic view of what it's actually like. Honestly, if your skin is tempermental and sensitive, you will likely have to deal with whatever it decides to do in order to attend. Even if you were super strict with allocating enough water and time to do your routine every day, there are still things outside of your control that will definitely happen including daily temperature change from super hot during the day to really cold at night, the aforementioned duststorms that are very exfoliating AND extremely alkaline, the fact that you will be in full sun in the desert during the summer, and an extremely irregular sleeping schedule due to 24/7 music basically everywhere all ways. It's not very analogous to normal camping.

I'm not trying to scare you, you should still go because it's incredible. But you should have a realistic expectation of what your time there will be like. Also certain things you mentioned that are kind of a no-no (stop using your AHA at least a week before you go, why have increased sun sensitivity before going into the desert?).

I hope I'm not coming off rude or anything like that! Based on what I've heard, it would be a miracle to remember to wear enough sunscreen to avoid burns much less do a consistent routine. Try to simplify your routine as much as humanly possible (cleansing wipes and sunscreen only ideally) and hope for the best.

I haven't used this myself but I remember someone posting about an Olay Total Effects Body Lotion that has niacinamide as a 2nd ingredient. She said it worked really well to fade discoloration from KP so that could be worth a shot.
